Welcome!
I started my career as a chef in mye hometown of Gjøvik. After graduation, I started to work with many different michelin starred chefs through Academy of culinary cuisine – Kulinarisk Akademi in Oslo, as a tutor. I then proceeded on to work in Paris for a few years as head chef at the Royal norwegian embassy, as well as a freelance supervisor for other restaurants in the city.
After more than ten years over the stove I decided to follow my long lived passion for thorough journalism. I am therefore now an educated journalist with a personal specialization within narrative, journalistic photography.
I’ve worked for the biggest weekend-magazine in Norway, D2, and freelance with photo and text for a few other magazines a well.
I wanted to broaden my commodity knowledge and a expand my insight into local produce after a few years on my own, so for the past few years I’ve been working at one of the leading vendors in Oslo, Maschmanns Matmarked, as 2nd in command in both the meat section, and fish department.
